City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for July 1 – 7, 2013

Vandalism to Property, 100 block S. Virginia Ave. On July 1, police received a report that dog feces were smothered on a resident’s door knob and handle.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 100 block W. Broad St. (George Mason Square) On July 1, an unknown suspect(s) stole cash from an unlocked vehicle in the parking garage.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 100 block W. Marshall St. On July 1, police received a report that unknown suspects entered a vehicle and stole an iPod.

Drinking In Public, 100 block W. Marshall St. On July 2, a male, 21, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Drinking In Public.

Tampering with Vehicle, 100 block W. Marshall St. On July 2, an unknown suspect(s) tampered with a parked vehicle. No items were taken.

Public Drunkenness, 300 block S. Maple Ave. On July 2, a male, 37, of Falls Church, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Driving Under the Influence and Underage Possession of Alcohol, 100 block N. West St. On July 4, a male, 20, of Culpeper, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Underage Possession of Alcohol.

Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, 1100 block W. Broad St. On July 4, a female, 24, no fixed address, was arrested and released on summons for Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Underage Possession of Alcohol, 200 block E. Broad St. On July 5, a male, 18, of the City of Falls Church; a male, 20, of Herndon; and a male, 19, of Vienna; were arrested and released on summons for Underage Possession of Alcohol.

Trespassing, 344 W. Broad St. (Starbucks) On July 5, a female, 63, of Falls Church was arrested for Trespassing.

Vandalism to Vehicle, 500 block Greenwich St. On July 6, police received a report that an unknown suspect(s) inserted a metal object into the keyhole of the vehicle’s front door.

Driving Under the Influence, 100 block Little Falls St. On July 6, a female, 51, of Vienna, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6795 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On July 6, a male, 47, of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.
