Mason Grad Wins Skanska Innovation Award

Tim Brooks, a graduate of George Mason High School’s Class of 2008, recently received the regional Innovator of the Year Award from Skanska USA Building.

At the May 2013 ceremony held in North Carolina, Brooks was recognized for his development of a paperless documentation system that enhances the company’s sustainability.

Brooks, who is also a 2012 graduate of James Madison University, recently was promoted to a project engineer for Skanska; he is currently based in Harrisonburg.
