City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for June 24 – 30, 2013

Drinking In Public, Public Drunkenness and Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol in Public, 300 Park Ave. (City of Falls Church Courthouse) On June 25, a male, 46, no fixed address, was arrested for Drinking In Public, Public Drunkenness, and Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol in Public.
Disregard Police Signal to Stop, 200 block S. Washington St. On June 25, an officer conducted a traffic stop with the driving failing to stop upon signal. The driver, a female, 38, of Vienna, was arrested and released on summons for Disregarding Police Signal to Stop.
Trespassing, 115 E. Broad St. (The Falls Church) On June 26, a male, 26, no fixed address, was arrested and released on summons for Trespassing.
Obstruction of Justice, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, and Public Drunkenness, 6763 Wilson Blvd. #R3 (V3 Club) On June 26, an officer observed a fight while patrolling the area. As a result of the investigation, a female, 32, of Woodbridge; and a male, 26, of Alexandria, were arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Public Drunkenness, Obstruction of Justice, and Resisting Arrest. A female, 39, was arrested for Obstruction of Justice, Disorderly Conduct, and Public Drunkenness.
Noise Violation, 300 block Shirley St. On June 26, a truck driver was picking up refuse during prohibited hours. The driver, a male, 36, of Manassas, was arrested and released on summons for a Noise Violation.
Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #17 (Hoa Vien Quan) On June 27, a male, 45, of Falls Church was arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area. A male, 42, of Fairfax, was arrested and released on summons for Permitting Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.
Larceny from Vehicle, 1000 block Madison Ln. On June 27, an unknown suspect(s) stole a license plate from a vehicle parked on the street.
Larceny from Building, 500 block Roosevelt Blvd. On June 27, an unknown suspect(s) stole various personal items from a residence. There were no signs of forced entry.
Narcotics Violation, 400 block S. Washington St. On June 27, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 20, of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.
Larceny from Vehicle, 100 block W. Westmoreland St. On June 27, an unknown suspect(s) stole a radio from an unlocked vehicle sometime overnight.
Narcotics Violation, and Weapons Violation, 300 W. Broad St. (The Stratford Motorlodge) On June 27, a male, 20, of Madison, VA, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Narcotics, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition after being convicted of a felony, and Possession of Marijuana.
Larceny from Building, 1051 E. Broad St. (Koons Nissan) On June 28, an unknown suspect(s) stole an iPhone from the premises.
Driving Under the Influence, and Refusal to Submit to Blood or Breath Test, 100 block S. Maple Ave. On June 28, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 29, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to Blood or Breath Test.
Driving Under the Influence, 500 block N. Washington St. On June 29, an officer observed a traffic crash. As a result of the investigation, one of the drivers, a male, 46, of Rockville, MD, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
Shoplifting, 1212 W. Broad St. (VABC Store) On June 29, police received a report that an unknown suspect stole vodka from the store sometime on June 28.
Public Drunkenness, 300 W. Broad St. (The Stratford Motorlodge) On June 29, a female, 42, of Herndon, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.
Driving Under the Influence, 400 block Roosevelt Blvd. On June 30, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 22, of Burke, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
Narcotics Violation, 1000 E. Broad St. On June 30, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 25, of Arlington, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.
Panhandling, 1000 block E. Broad St. On June 30, a male, 30, no fixed address, was arrested and released on summons for Panhandling.
Driving Under the Influence, 800 block S. Washington St. On June 30, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 23, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
Other Arrests
Domestic Assault, On June 27, a male, 26, of the City of Falls Church, surrendered himself to Falls Church Police after warrants were issued for Assaulting a Family Member on June 25.
