City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for June 3 – 9, 2013 

NOTE: This report is not a definitive list of all criminal activity and is subject to change upon investigation.

Assault by Intimidation, 900 block Ellison St. On June 4, a suspect familiar to the victim displayed a knife in a threatening manner near the residence.

Trespass, 201 S. Washington St. (7-Eleven) On June 5, a male, 60, no fixed address, was arrested and released on summons for Trespassing.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 804 S. Washington St. (7-Eleven) On June 6, a power saw was stolen from a City of Falls Church truck. Officers located the suspect at a nearby location and recovered the power saw. A male, 24, of Washington, DC, was arrested for Grand Larceny.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On June 7, a male, 29, of Burke; and a male, 35, of Arlington, were arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6795 Wilson Blvd. #1 (Metro Café) On June 8, a male, 45, of Springfield, was arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area. The owner, a male, 46, of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Permitting Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Vandalism to Vehicle, 1230 W. Broad St. (Giant Food Store) On June 8, unknown suspects vandalized a parked vehicle by filling a gas tank and tailpipe with dirt. The also placed shopping carts on the victim’s vehicle.

Shoplifting, 1212 W. Broad St. (VABC Store) On June 8, police received reports of stolen merchandise which occurred on May 14 and 16.

Larceny from Building, 7124 Leesburg Pike (George Mason High School) On June 8, an unknown suspect(s) stole an unsecured iPhone from the stadium field.

Assault & Battery, Disorderly Conduct, Obstruction of Justice, Resisting Arrest, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Hy Ki Mia) On June 8, police responded to the location for a report of a fight. The primary instigator fled police during the investigation. Officers were able to apprehend the suspect immediately afterward. A male, 31, of Vienna, was arrested for three counts of Assault & Battery, Disorderly Conduct, Obstruction of Justice, and Resisting Arrest.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 300 block Lincoln Ave. On June 6, police received a report that an unknown suspect stole personal items from the victim’s vehicle sometime on May 31.
