F.C. Council’s Ron Peppe Confirms He Won’t Seek Re-Election This Year

Adding to the announcement made earlier today that Falls Church City Council members Johannah Barry and Ira Kaylin will not seek election to second terms this fall, Councilman Ron Peppe also confirmed at the City Council meeting tonight that he will not seek re-election. It means that three of the four seats being contested this November will be filled by new aspirants, and only Vice Mayor David Snyder is seeking election to another term. The deadline for filing necessary petitions and paperwork to run for City Council and School Board in Falls Church is 7 p.m. tomorrow night.
