F.C. Ed Foundation Recognizes Tech Teachers of the Year

313techAt its annual gala last Friday, the Falls Church Education Foundation surprised four Falls Church City Public Schools teachers with a new award – Technology Teacher of the Year.

The four honored teachers (pictured from left to right) are Al DeFazio, George Mason High School English teacher; Michelle Janney, Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School sixth-grade math teacher; Courtney Quinlan, Mount Daniel School first-grade teacher; and Lisa Allan, Thomas Jefferson Elementary School fourth-grade teacher.

Each award included a check for $500. The awards were made possible by the contribution of an anonymous donor to recognize teachers who are embracing technology and making it part of everyday classroom experiences.
