Andrew Connelly (inside, second from left) was named the George Mason High School 2013 RoPaSci champion. RoPaSci is math teacher Joel Block’s Rock-Paper-Scissors tournament. Its purpose is to encourage students to maintain focus throughout the third quarter after the long winter break. Students who turn in all their homework and maintain or improve their grades from the previous quarter become members of the RoPaSci Fraternity. The Rock-Paper-Scissors tournament is then used to determine a winner who enjoys a limo ride around Falls Church with a few friends, courtesy of Don Beyer Volvo. (FCCPS Photo/Marybeth Connelly)
