F.C. Rotary Hears Briefing on Sponsored Bishop O’Connell Interact Club

312rotaryPresident Emily Lodge gave a report about Bishop O’Connell High School Interact Club and its activities at the April 25 Falls Church Rotary Club meeting at Fortune Restaurant. Emily is a senior who plans to attend the University of Virginia in the fall. Interact is Rotary International’s affiliate for ages 12 to 18. The Falls Church Rotary Club sponsors Interact Clubs at Bishop O’Connell High School and Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. Bishop O’Connell Interact students volunteer for community activities and raise funds for local and international charities including $113,000 for Cystic Fibrosis raised at a dance.
