A 67-year old man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a person last Thursday on North Maple Avenue in the City of Falls Church.

Police arrested John M. Schmelzer, of Falls Church, at a residence in the 200 block of N. Maple Ave. and charged him with Malicious Wounding and Malicious Prevention of Emergency Communication.
