Falls Church City Manager Wyatt Shields announced at the Town Hall meeting on the budget today that the reason Mayor Nader Baroukh was not present was because he was escorting his wife, Bernie, and their new child, Mia Grace Fancuberta Baroukh, home from the hospital following the child’s birth last Tuesday. Mia Grace was born at 7 lbs., 6 oz., and 20 inches long at 6:45 p.m. on April 9. The news was received with an applause from the audience at the Town Hall.
