Mad Fox to Host First-Ever Spring Bock Festival

Mad Fox Brewing Company will host its first-ever Mad Fox Spring Bock Festival this Saturday, April 13, from 11 a.m. – 6 pm. The event, which will serve as a tribute to the strong lagers with German origins, is free and open to the public. Music and beer samples will be provided, and Bavarian-based food will be sold on the Market Square located in front of the brewpub.

The brewery team, led by Executive Brewer and CEO Bill Madden, is assembling a beer lineup that showcases more than a dozen bocks, headlined by Mad Fox’s award-winning Elixir Maibock and two of its collaborative efforts with Bluejacket Brewery’s Megan Parisi – the Mad Jacket Weizenbock Ale and the Mad Jacket Instigator Doppelbock.

Executive Chef Andrew Dixon’s menu will feature braised German sausages on a soft roll, frankfurters, giant pretzel twists with bock cheese mustard dip ale, and Chesapeake potato chips.

The festival will be held rain or shine, moving indoors in the event of inclement weather.

Mad Fox Brewing Company is located at 444 W. Broad St., Falls Church. For more information, call 703-942-6840 or visit madfoxbrewing.com.
