The winners of this year’s Mary Riley Styles Public Library youth poetry contest were honored in a reception last Wednesday.

In grades 5 – 8, first place went to Siana Hinsz. Dalia Hamilton placed second, Liam Fribley placed third, and Hannah Xu earned an honorable mention. Recognition was also given to Emily Nelson and Erik Donnelly.

In grades 9 – 12, first place went to Grace Castillo. Caroline Stahley placed second, Blaise Sevier placed third, and Elinor McLain earned an honorable mention. Recognition was also given to Rosa Sugarman and Katie Katz.
