Arc of Northern Virginia Names New Executive Director

Rikki S. Epstein has been appointed executive director of The Arc of Northern Virginia, a Falls Church based nonprofit membership organization that represents and serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. She was previously with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, where her responsibilities included serving people with disabilities.

Earlier in her career, Epstein served as executive director of the National Therapeutic Recreation Society, based in Ashburn. The Arc of Northern Virginia is a non-profit membership organization that represents and serves individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in the Northern Virginia area. Working for “A Life Like Yours” is the cornerstone of The Arc’s vision.
