Ms. Virginia Senior America Seeks Pageant Contestants

The 2013 Ms. Virginia Senior America Pageant is searching for women who are interested in becoming contestants. The Ms. Virginia Senior America Pageant, now in its 29th year, seeks to draw attention to the achievements of senior women age 60 and older.

A free contestant orientation is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 28, from 10 a.m. – noon at the Fairlington Community Center, 3308 S. Stafford St., Suite 100, Arlington. Those in attendance can meet the 2012 Queen and other former queens and contestants.

The state pageant is being held in Staunton on May 17 and the winner will represent Virginia at the National Pageant later in the fall.
