F.C. Student Places 2nd in State Free Throw Contest

Frank Lavoie of the Corpus Christi Cougars, of the sixth-grade boys CYO basketball team (Saint Anthony of Padua Parish) was a state finalist and placed second in the 11-year-old division of the Knights of Columbus free throw competition in Richmond on Feb. 16. Frank made 19 out of 25 free throws, and the winner made 20 out of 25. Frank is a sixth grader at Congressional Schools of Virginia in Falls Church. (Courtesy Photo)
