The McLean Community Center’s Sunday Soirees, a series of casual afternoon dances, will return on Sunday, Feb. 24, with “My Funny Valentine.” The themed, open dance session will be held from 3 – 5 p.m. in the community hall. Admission is $5 at the door. The center is located at 1234 Ingleside Ave., McLean.

There is a “no pressure to perform” atmosphere at the dances, so while many energetically practice their dance steps, many prefer to sit and listen to the music of The Wayne Tympanick Trio instead. Refreshments are included in the cost of admission.
