Marshall High Swimmers & Divers Advance to Regionals

After an accomplished performance at the team’s district meet, athletes from the George C. Marshall swim and dive team will advance to the regional meet.

Bryce Shelton earned first in 1m diving with a state cut and All-American title, Emily Reinhart took fourth in 1m diving, and Sydney Shelton placed eighth in 1m diving with a regional cut.

Davide Vittori placed fourth in the 200-yard individual medley with a state cut and third in the 100 fly. Jacob Freck placed fourth in the 50-yard freestyle and fifth in the 100-yard freestyle. Lauren Kaup placed fourth in the 50-yard freestyle.

The boys 200-yard medley relay team of Davide Vittori, Adib Milani, Brian Leibowitz, and Jacob Freck placed fifth. The boys 200-yard freestyle relay team of Vittori, Alex Epp, Leibowitz, and Freck placed fifth.

The girls 400-yard freestyle relay team of Tabatha Horner, Nadia Critchley, Elizabeth Gardner, and Kaup placed sixth and also set a school record. The four girls also broke a school record in the 200-yard freestyle relay that had stood for 20 years.
