Identity Revealed of 2 Victims of F.C. House Fire

The identity of the two victims of a house fire in greater Falls Church was revealed by Fairfax County Fire and Rescue. Laura Jeanne Snyder-Gardner, 48, of 3013 Manor Road, a staff member at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. and her 16-year-old daughter, Mary Ann, a junior at the high school on the Gallaudet University campus, were killed in a fire that broke out at 3:20 a.m. on Wednesday morning. The house was totally destroyed.

Both victims described as members of a “close-knit deaf community” by the Washington Post.
