F.C. Contestant Wins Cash & Prize on ‘Price is Right’

Falls Church’s Paul Koch was recently invited to “come on down” and compete in the long-running TV game show “The Price is Right.”

On the episode, which aired last Wednesday, Koch took home more than $7,000 in cash and prizes.

He won a guitar, valued at $2,399, by making the closest guess at the guitar’s price, thus earning the chance to play “It’s in the Bag.” By matching the prices of an assortment of grocery items with given costs, Koch earned $4,000 and moved on to spin the wheel to try to secure a spot in the Showcase Showdown.

With a single spin he hit the rare $1 mark and earned $1,000 and a place in the grand finale.

Koch lost in the head-to-head Showcase Showdown, missing out on three luxury international vacations by underbidding on the cost of the trips.
