The F.C.Lions Club and the Lions of Virginia Foundation recently awarded Mike Beyer and The Beyer Automotive Group with the Lions of Virginia Distinguished Humanitarian award. In addition to other extensive contributions to charities, community organizations, and local causes, Mike and Don Beyer Volvo have been loyal sponsors of the club’s charity golf tournament, supporting this annual fundraiser for all of its eight years. Over the past several years, many Virginia business people and Lions have consistently been at the forefront in planning, coordinating, and providing community and humanitarian service to those in need. To recognize the service of those outstanding individuals and businesses, the Lions of Virginia Foundation established the “Lions of Virginia Distinguished Humanitarian” award.
