City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for December 11 – 17, 2012 

NOTE: This report is not a definitive list of all criminal activity and is subject to change upon investigation.

Larceny from Building, 500 block Roosevelt. Blvd. On Dec. 11, a resident reported jewelry stolen from the apartment sometime between Nov. 30 and Dec. 2.

Larceny from Vehicle and Vandalism to Vehicle, 384 N. Washington St. (Crossman United Methodist Church) On Dec. 11, a vehicle window was smashed and an unknown suspect stole items from the vehicle.

Larceny from Building, 1000 E. Broad St. (24 Hour Fitness) On Dec. 11, an unknown suspect(s) cut a lock and stole various items from a locker.

Public Drunkenness, 400 block S. Maple Ave. On Dec. 12,a male, 66, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #16 (Café Le Mirage) On Dec. 12, the manager, a female, 41, of Springfield; a male, 48, of Woodstock, GA; and a male, 43, of Fairfax were arrested and released on summons for Smoking Violations.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 100 block Rowell Ct. On Dec. 13, an unknown suspect(s) broke a passenger window and stole a purse from the vehicle.

Larceny from Building, 500 block Roosevelt Blvd. On Dec. 15, an unknown suspect(s) stole an iPad mini from an apartment.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6623 Wilson Blvd. (Seven Corner’s Shell) On Dec. 15, an officer observed two individuals smoking in the vicinity of a gasoline pump. a male, 26, of Alexandria; and a male, 28, of Alexandria, were arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 100 block Church Pl. On Dec. 16, an unknown suspect(s) stole loose change and an mp3 player from an unlocked vehicle.

Driving Under the Influence and Noise Violation, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. On Dec. 16, a male, 24, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Violation of a Noise Ordinance.

Driving Under the Influence, 500 block N. Washington St. On Dec. 16, a male, 48, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 200 block Noland St. On Dec. 16, an unknown suspect(s) stole various items from two unlocked vehicles.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 400 block E Columbia St. On Dec. 16, an unknown suspect(s) stole a DVD player from a vehicle.

Shoplifting, 926-B W. Broad St. (Brits on Broad) On Dec. 16, an employee observed an individual stealing merchandise. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, approximately 35-45 years old. He was wearing a baseball cap with green sunglasses on the back of his head, a mustard yellow coat, and black baggy pants.

Armed Robbery, 169 Hillwood Ave. (Red, Hot and Blue) On Dec. 16, Three Hispanic males approximately 16-20 years old demanded a wallet from the victim. One suspect presented a handgun during the robbery. One suspect was approximately 5’5” tall with a moustache. The second suspect was approximately 5’8” tall with a ski mask. The third suspect was approximately 6’ tall. No injuries were reported.
