Student Actors Bring Demon Barber of Fleet Street to TJ High

A cast of student actors will stage the classic Stephen Sondheim musical “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” next weekend.

The play about a vengeful London barber and his landlady’s scrumptious but mysterious meat pies will be performed by the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology’s student choir, joined by TJ faculty, parent, and alumni choirs.

Performances are scheduled for Friday, Dec. 7, and Saturday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are available at the door on performance days at the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, 6560 Braddock Road, Alexandria.
