City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for October 30 – November 5, 2012

NOTE: This report is not a definitive list of all criminal activity and is subject to change upon investigation.

Panhandling, 1000 block E. Broad St. On Oct. 23, a male, 40, no fixed address, was arrested and released on summons for Panhandling.

Child Neglect, 200 block E. Fairfax St. On Oct. 27, a female, 28, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Child Neglect.

Domestic Assault, 800 block Ridge Pl. On Oct. 27, a male, 51, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Assaulting a Family Member.

Graffiti, 500 block Great Falls St. On Oct. 28, an unknown suspect(s) spray painted graffiti on various political yard signs.

Shoplifting, 134 W. Broad St. On Oct. 28, a carton of cigarettes was stolen from the store. Warrants are pending.

Larceny from Building, 929 W. Broad St. (Dancing Mind Yoga) On Oct. 29, an unknown suspect(s) stole a wallet.

Driving Under the Influence, 300 block N. Washington St. On Oct. 29, a female, 28, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Vandalism, 1000 block Lincoln Ave. On Oct. 29, an unknown suspect(s) removed a house pipe which caused flooding.

Driving Under the Influence, False ID to Law Enforcement, and Identity Theft, Unit block N. Roosevelt St.

On Oct. 30, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, used false identification to avoid arrest, provided false id to law enforcement. A male, 23, of Rockville, MD, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence, False ID to Law Enforcement, and Identity Theft.

Driving Under the Influence, 100 block Park Pl. On Nov. 3, a male, 29, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Vandalism to Vehicle, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. On Nov. 4, an unknown suspect(s) smashed a rear window.

Assault and Battery, 132 W. Broad St. (Dogwood Tavern) On Nov. 4, an unknown suspect(s) assaulted a victim on the sidewalk. The suspect is described as a white male approximately 6’02” tall, weighing 240 pounds, wearing a white T-shirt and a dark jacket.

Driving Under the Influence, 6600 block Wilson Blvd. On Nov. 4, a female, 42, of Annandale, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
