F.C. City Schools Sub Wins Short Story Contest Award

A short story, “Growing Up,” written by Falls Church City Public Schools’ substitute teacher Judith O’Neill, has won publication and the second runner-up award in the annual Best Fiction Contest sponsored by Oasis Journal 2012 by Imago Press of Tucson, Arizona.

O’Neill has substituted at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School and Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School for the past six years. Oasis Journal 2012 is available on Amazon.com.
