Fall Properties will feature the work of local watercolorist Bill Abel in a reception Friday as part of FIRSTfriday festivities.

Guests who stop by the Fall Properties offices Friday between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. can see Abel’s work and enjoy some food and wine.

Abel, a Falls Church City resident, has been painting and teaching with watercolors for the past 20 years. The paintings in this show reflect his time spent in Florida, the Carolinas, and Virginia.

Over the years, Abel has sold paintings to both private and corporate collectors, and he continually paints commissioned paintings and murals – watercolor portraits of people, pets, and homes have been a mainstay for him.
