State Board of Elections Votes To Seek Investigation of Moran Case

In a press release from the Virginia State Board of Elections late today it was reported that the board voted unanimously to ask the Office of the State Attorney General to investigate allegations of attempted voter fraud involving Patrick Moran, son of U.S. Rep. Jim Moran.

The following is the complete statement:

RICHMOND, VA – At today’s special meeting, the State Board of Elections voted unanimously to request the Office of the Attorney General to investigate voting irregularities involving fraudulent activity concerning Mr. Patrick Moran and others regarding fraudulent voting, including the individual who made the recording of the incident.

All questions pertaining to the investigation should be directed to the Office of the Attorney General at 804.786.5874.
