City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for October 2 – 8, 2012

Driving Under the Influence, 800 block W. Broad St. On Oct. 2, a male, 31, of Fairfax, was arrested for Driving Under the influence.

Larceny of Motor Vehicle Parts, 300 block S. Oak St. On Oct. 2, victim reported that sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s) stole windshield wipers.

Larceny from Building, 300 block Van Buren St. On Oct. 2, victim reported that an unknown suspect(s) stole jewelry sometime during the past week.

Narcotics Violation and Public Drunkenness, 300 block N. Washington St. On Oct. 3, a male, 20, of Falls Church was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Public Drunkenness.

Commercial Burglary, 917 W. Broad St. (Dominion Jewelers Construction Site) On Oct. 3, an unknown suspect(s) cut the gate padlock and stole several construction materials.

Assault & Battery and Shoplifting, 1003 W. Broad St. (RiteAid Pharmacy) On Oct. 4, two employees were struck after confronting a shoplifting suspect. A female, 31, of Waldorf, MD, was arrested for two counts of Assault & Battery and Shoplifting.

Shoplifting, 586 S. Washington St. (Victory Comics) On Oct. 4, an individual was observed concealing comic books. A male, 20, of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Shoplifting.

Trespassing, 1150 W. Broad St. (CVS Pharmacy) On Oct. 5, a previously banned individual entered the store. A male, 51, no fixed address, was arrested and released on summons for Trespassing.

Shoplifting, 1150 W. Broad St. (CVS Pharmacy) On Oct. 5, two unknown suspects left the store without paying for merchandise.

Larceny from Building, 500 block W. Broad St. On Oct. 5, an unknown suspect stole an unattended laptop computer from a trash room.

Larceny from Building, 400 block S. Maple Ave. On Oct. 6, victim reported an unknown suspect(s) stole items from a storage bin.

Public Drunkenness, Obstruction of Justice, and Littering, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. On Oct. 6, a male, no fixed address, was arrested for Public Drunkenness, Obstruction of Justice and Littering.

Public Drunkenness and Resisting Arrest, 6763 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Oct. 7, a male, 22, of Fairfax, was arrested for Public Drunkenness and Resisting Arrest.

Urinating In Public, 306 Hillwood Ave. (Lesly’s Bar and Grille) On Oct. 7, a male, 33, of Falls Church was arrested and released on summons for Urinating In Public.

Domestic Assault, 900 block Ellison St. On Oct. 8, a female, 31, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Assaulting a Family Member.
