Scout Seeks Support for F.C. High Field Project

This weekend, Ryan Krepp will be working on his Eagle Scout project and is looking for community support in his efforts to improve Falls Church High School’s baseball field.

Krepp will be putting a warning track in at the baseball field. The blue stone dust track will act as a warning to outfielders so that they are not injured by running into the fence 10 feet from the track.

To install this track, volunteers will be cutting up the existing sod and laying 54 tons of blue stone dust. Those who would like to donate their time are invited to the field Friday from 3 – 7 p.m. or Saturday from 6 a.m. – 3 p.m. to take part in the project. Food and drinks will be provided.

Those interested can also make monetary donations for this project.

For more information, contact Krepp at 703-560-9596 or Ryan.krepp02@gmail.com.
