City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for September 25 – October 1, 2012

Larceny from Building, 1000 E. Broad St. (24 Hour Fitness) On Sept. 26, an unknown suspect(s) cut locks and stole wallets from lockers in the men’s locker room.

Larceny of Motor Vehicle Parts and Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 300 block Gundry Dr. On Sept. 28, victim reported that sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s) smashed a vehicle window and stole personal items and a mounted GPS unit.

Larceny of Motor Vehicle Parts, 200 block N. Maple Ave. On Sept. 28, an unknown suspect(s) unlocked a vehicle’s door and stole the airbag compartment from a steering wheel sometime overnight.

Shoplifting, 1150 W. Broad St. (CVS Pharmacy) On Sept. 28, a male, 52, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested and released on a summons for Shoplifting.

Larceny of Motor Vehicle Parts and Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 200 block Gundry Dr. On Sept. 28, an unknown suspect(s) unlocked a vehicle’s door and stole two GPS units and the airbag from the steering wheel sometime overnight.

Larceny of Motor Vehicle Parts, 200 block S. Virginia Ave. On Sept. 28, an unknown suspect(s) shattered a car window and stole the steering wheel compartment sometime overnight.

Shoplifting, 134 W. Broad St. (CVS Pharmacy) On Sept. 28, a female, 25, of Washington, DC, was arrested and released on summons for Shoplifting.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #16 (Café Lang Van) On Sept. 29, a male, 54, of Annandale, was arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #15 (H2O Cafe) On Sept. 29, a male, 43, of Annandale, was arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6795 Wilson Blvd. #52 (Café Dang) On Sept. 29, a male, 25, of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Shoplifting, 1150 W. Broad St. (CVS Pharmacy) On Sept. 29, an unknown suspect described as a black male, six feet tall, wearing jean shorts, a blue top, and white tennis shoes stole merchandise.

Grafiti, 400-block Sherrow Ave. On Oct. 1, a witness observed juveniles spray painting a bridge. Juvenile suspects have been identified.

Shoplifting, 1212 W. Broad St. (ABC Store) On Oct. 1, the business reported merchandise was stolen on Sept. 28.
