The Naomi Project, a free, confidential interfaith program sponsored by the Virginia Council of Churches, will be training volunteer mentors this weekend for its service program.
The project matches one volunteer with one pregnant or newly parenting woman in a mentoring relationship that extends through the pregnancy and the child’s early development.
The training session is scheduled for Saturday from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at Falls Church Presbyterian Church, 225 E. Broad St., Falls Church. Those who would like to volunteer to mentor can contact Laura Greenspan at 703-860-2633.
