F.C. Churches to Host Help the Homeless Walk Sunday

Neighbors and friends will join together to participate in a Help the Homeless community walk hosted by The Falls Church Episcopal and the Falls Church Presbyterian Sunday to benefit Shelter House.

All are invited to participate in this walk, which will begin at 12:15 p.m. in the upper parking lot of The Falls Church Episcopal on Broad Street. The walk will be approximately one mile, walking from the church up Washington Street to Park Avenue and by the library and community center.

The churches hope to raise both awareness and funds for this Shelter House, which provides crisis intervention, safe housing and supportive services to promote self-sufficiency for homeless families and victims of domestic violence in the community.
