McLean Woman Assaulted During Burglary

A man broke in to a McLean residence last Friday morning and attempted to sexually assault a 40-year old woman, police report.

On Friday, September 7 at 10:45 a.m., police say the victim entered her apartment in the 8000 block of Chanute Place and encountered the suspect described to be in his late 20’s, possibly Hispanic, five-feet six inches to six-feet tall, with short black hair and brown eyes wearing blue jeans. The woman fought off the suspect who was attempting to sexually assault her until he stopped and feld the apartment.
