Critter Corner: Toffee

critter2Toffee is a sweet, loyal, energetic 4-year-old mutt that has been living in the kennels of Falls Church Animal Hospital for nearly a year now. She is believed to be a Labrador/Boxer mix, and gets her name from the gorgeous shade of her coat.

She was given up by her former owner after she allegedly became dog-aggressive with her sister when a male dog was added to their family. Toffee has been through a Behavioral Assessment in which she was forced to be in the same room with other dogs; she has not displayed dog aggression while at the hospital, but may defend herself if cornered. She requires a patient owner, but deserves a second chance. For more information, call 703-254-8402.
