For the third straight year, Dr. Vince Dougherty has won the Best of Falls Church for dentist, again edging out some stiff competition. The longevity of his practice in the City – started by his dad in 1968 and carried on when Vince came on board in 1988 – only partly accounts for his success. Only a handful of his patients go all the way back to 1968, but there are some!

In addition to excellent service and an attentive, friendly staff, Dr. Dougherty has continued to upgrade and expand his dental service capabilities, adding implant and cosmetic dentistry as major new features of his practice.

Dr. Dougherty has also remained a dedicated and visible member of the wider community, volunteering for a sixth straight year at the Mission of Mercy, providing cosmetic dental services to needy patients in the region, and being active as a board member of the Falls Church Chamber of Commerce.
