Zemfira Stage to Bring ‘The Producers’ to James Lee

Zemfira Stage will be bringing a musical adapted from the Mel Brooks classic “The Producers” to the James Lee Community Center stage this month and next.

In “The Producers,” a down-on-his-luck Broadway producer and his mild-mannered accountant launch a scheme to get rich by producing the most notorious flop in history.

Performances are scheduled for Aug. 31, Sept. 1, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, and 15 at 8 p.m., and Sept. 2, 9, and 16 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15, and $10 for students, seniors, active or retired military, large groups, and matinee performances.
