Sex Assault Reported in Merrifield Area

Fairfax County Police say a 19-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in the 7600 block of Lee Highway Sunday night.

According to police reports, the woman was walking along Lee Highway when a man approached, displayed a knife, forced her into some nearby brush and sexually assaulted her. The suspect was described as a short Hispanic man in his 30s with short black hair and wearing a black T-shirt and jeans.
