Oakton Otters Dive Meet Results: July 24

The Oakton Otters dominated the boards at their last dive meet of the season Tuesday evening, beating Villa Aquatic 43 to 25. The Otters finished their season with a record of 2-3 and in fourth place in Division 4.

The Otter divers placed in nearly every category and took first place in five of the eight categories: Freshman Boys (Ryan Laing), Junior Girls (Mackenzie Brennan), Junior Boys (Brad Burgeson), Intermediate Girls: (Elana Colbert), and Senior Girls (AJ Colbert). The Otter divers swept the top three places in Junior Girls (Kenna Campfield, second; Kyla Straker, third). Other divers that placed were: Haley Liddell (Freshman Girls, second), Claire Newberry (Freshman Girls, third), Blaise West (Freshman Boys, third), Liam Klopfenstein (Junior Boys, third), Julia Powell (Intermediate Girls, second), Gil Osofsky (Intermediate Boys, second), and Everi Osofsky (Senior Girls, third).

The Otters are hosting the Divisional Dive Meet Sunday at 8 a.m. The Otter divers who will be competing in Divisionals are: Haley Liddell, Ariel Klopfenstein, Lexi Pierce, Gillian MacStravic, Mackenzie Brennan, Kenna Campfield, Kyla Straker, Liam Klopfenstien, Brad Burgeson, Elana Colbert, Julia Powell, James Crowley, Gil Osofsky, Everi Osofsky, AJ Colbert and Daniel Nugent.
