City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for July 3 – 9, 2012

NOTE: This report is not a definitive list of all criminal activity and is subject to change upon investigation.

Trespassing, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On July 3, a male, 54, no fixed address, was arrested for Trespassing.

Domestic Assault, 500 block W. Broad St. On July 4, officers responded to a 911 call in a residence. A male, 41, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Assaulting a Family Member.

Narcotics Violation, 100 block S. Virginia Ave. On July 4, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. One of the passengers, a male, 23, of Lake Ridge, was arrested and released on a summons for Possession of Marijuana.

Panhandling, 1000 block E. Broad St. On July 4, a female, 41, of Alexandria was arrested and released on summons for Panhandling.

Warrant Service and Public Drunkenness, 100 block W. Broad St. On July 4, a male, 59, of Falls Church, was arrested for Public Drunkenness. The suspect was also served a Falls Church City warrant for Malicious Wounding.

Driving Under the Influence and Narcotics Violation, 400 block S. Maple Ave. On July 5, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a female, 25, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence. The passenger, a male, 21, of Dumfries, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.

Trespass, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On July 5, a male, 37, of Manassas, was arrested for Trespassing.

Larceny from Building, 112 N. West St. (Mike’s Deli & Lazy Sundae) On July 6, the business reported an electric generator was stolen sometime overnight. An unknown suspect(s) cut the chain which was anchored to a table.

Graffiti, 107 N. Virginia Ave. (NOVA Pediatrics) On July 6, graffiti were found on a dumpster and on generators.

Vandalism to Vehicle, 100 block Tinner Hill On July 6, an officer responded to the area for a report of suspicious activity. When the officer arrived, a vehicle was found with two tires and rims damaged.

Larceny from Building, 1230 W. Broad St. (Giant Foods) On July 7, an unknown suspect(s) stole a wallet.

Narcotics Violation, 600 block Poplar Dr. On July 8, a male, 32, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.

Driving Under the Influence, 7100 block Leesburg Pike On July 8, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 42, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Possession of a False ID, Underage Possession of Alcohol, Fraudulent Use of a License, and Attempt to Commit a Misdemeanor, 201 S. Washington St. (7-Eleven) On July 8, an officer observed suspicious activity. An underage person attempted to purchase alcohol with a False ID. A male, 18, of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of a False ID, Underage Possession of Alcohol, Fraudulent Use of a License, and Attempting to Commit a Misdemeanor.

Driving Under the Influence, 300 block E. Annandale Rd. On July 9, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 44, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Larceny from Building, 120 N. Virginia Ave. (Mary Riley Styles Public Library) On July 9, at approximately 12 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) stole an unattended laptop computer.
