Police Arrest Suspect in Stabbing of F.C. Man

Fairfax County Police have charged Mark Shelor, 24, of Fairfax, with murder in connection to the stabbing death of a Falls Church man.

Police responded to reports of a stabbing at 1761 Old Meadow Road, Suite 100, McLean, yesterday morning. Staff of the facility led police to the victim, Grady Alexander Vickers, 57, of Falls Church. He was taken to a local hospital, but died soon after. Officers were led to Shelor, who had stayed on the scene.

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services provides day support services for adults with mental illness at that address, and the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board contracts with PRS to provide those services. Police say both Shelor and Vickers were clients of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services.

Police are still investigating this incident.
