City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for May 29 – June 4, 2012

NOTE: This report is not a definitive list of all criminal activity and is subject to change upon investigation.

Graffiti, 201 N. Washington St. (Kaiser Permanente) On May 29, graffiti were found on N. Maple Ave. side of the parking garage.

Narcotics Violations, 800 block Parker Ave. On May 29, an officer observed suspicious activity in a vehicle. A male, 22, of Arlington, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute (<1 ounce) and Possession of Synthetic Cannibinoids.

Disorderly Conduct, 6763 Wilson Blvd. #R3 (V3 Club) On May 30, officers observed fighting in the parking lot. A male, 20, of Fredericksburg; and a male, 22, of Annandale, both were arrested and released on summons for Disorderly Conduct.

Graffiti, 600 block Park Ave. On May 30, graffiti were found on a residence.

Destruction of Property, 100 block Haycock Rd. On May 30, an unknown suspect(s) cut a screen window to a residence.

Noise Violation, 300 block Shirley St. On May 31, an officer observed trash pick up before designated hours. A male, 33, of West Hyattsville, MD; and a male, 34, of Woodbridge were arrested and released on summons for Noise Violations.

Destruction of Property, 500 block. W. Westmoreland Rd. On May 31, a vehicle tire was reported punctured. The incident occurred sometime between 2 p.m. on May 30 and 9 a.m. on May 31.

Liquor Law Violations, 804 S. Washington St. (7-Eleven) On May 31, a male, 22, of Washington, DC, was arrested and released on summons for Purchasing alcohol for Minors.

Residential Burglary, 100 block Birch St. On June 1, an unknown suspect(s) entered a residence and stole a bicycle, various electronic devices, and cash.

Narcotics Violation, 1300 block Tracy Pl. On June 1, an officer observed suspicious activity in a parked vehicle. A male, 19, of Vienna; and a male, 20, of Vienna, were arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.

Urinating In Public, 306 Hillwood Ave. (Lesly’s Restaurant) On June 2, a male, 35, of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Urinating In Public.

Trespassing, W & OD Bike Trail On June 2, an officer observed an individual who appeared intoxicated in the park during closed hours. A male, 19, of the City of Falls Church was arrested and released on summons for Trespassing.

Narcotics Violation, 600 block Poplar Dr. On June 2, a male, 18, of Vienna, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.

Destruction of Property, 100 block Birch St. On June 2, a vehicle was found with numerous scratches on the door.

Larceny from Person, 300 block W. Broad St. On June 3, an unknown suspect stole a wallet while on a Metrobus. The suspect was described as white male, brown hair, approximately 35-40 years old, wearing a t-shirt and blue jeans, and had a blue backpack in his possession.

Larceny from Building, 200 block S. Oak St. On June 3, two unsecured bicycles were reported stolen. The incident occurred on June 2.

Urinating In Public, 100 block W. Broad St. On June 4, a male, 34, of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Urinating In Public.

Failure to Update Sex Offender Registry, Identity Theft, 300 block Park Ave. On June 4, an officer observed suspicious activity in the area. The individual had stolen identification documents and was a registered sex offender. A male, no fixed address, was arrested for Failure to Update Sex Offender Registry, and Identity Theft.

Destruction of Property, 200 block Midvale St. On June 4, an unknown suspect(s) punctured a tire on a parked vehicle sometime overnight.

Larceny from Building, 100 block Haycock Rd. On June 4, sixteen vending machines were found damaged and the cash was stolen.
