May 22 Named John Ballou Day for Mason Teacher

Today is John Ballou Day, so named in honor of John Ballou’s 30 years as a George Mason High School teacher, his technical engineering support of student productions as advisor of the school’s Stage Crew, his work with the Falls Church City Cable Access Station and his leadership of the winning 1418 Robotics team Vae Victis.

Ballou was awarded the proclamation, signed by Vice Mayor Dave Snyder, at the 1418 Robotics annual picnic Sunday.
