Bikes Friday, Civil War Day to Close F.C. Roads

In recognition of “Bike to Work Day” Friday, part of Grove Ave. in Falls Church will be closed to function as “pit stops.” From N. West St. to Jennifer Lane, Grove will be closed from 6 to 9:30 a.m. and from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Residents-only access to the street will be permitted at those times. On Saturday, May 19, Park Avenue from N. Virginia Ave. to Little Falls St. will be closed for the annual Civil War Day at Cherry Hill Park. Limited access to the 313 Park building will be permitted, and Farmer’s Market customers are encouraged to park elsewhere.
