Tinner Hill Blues Fest Set for June 8-10

The Tinner Hill Heritage Foundation is hosting its 19th Annual Tinner Hill Blues Festival the weekend of June 8 to 10. While events will take place all weekend, the main event will be an all-day stage performance in Cherry Hill Park on Saturday, June 9 from noon to 8:30 p.m.

Sponsorship opportunities range from $500 to $20,000. The nonprofit Tinner Hill Heritage Foundation was established in 1997 to preserve the rich cultural heritage of pioneering African Americans who fought racial segregation and established the nation’s first rural branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), promote understanding and respect for all people, recognize the achievements of special individuals and groups, and create educational opportunities for teachers, students and the general public.
