F.C. Arts Show Themed on Size Limits to Open Thursday

The newest Falls Church Arts show 224 MAX opens this Thursday with a reception.

Artists were asked to submit mixed media two- and three- dimensional pieces of art that did not exceed 224 square or cubic inches.

This show will be running at ArtSpace Falls Church, 410 S. Maple Ave., through May 13.

Jane Coonce is the juror for this show. Coonce is known for founding the Arlington Artists Alliance. She has also been active in several arts organizations including The Art League in Alexandria, and McLean Project for the Arts. She teaches and also has a studio at Stifel & Capra.

Gallery sssistants are available on Thursdays and Fridays from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. and Saturday from noon – 2 p.m. and again from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Sundays, the fallery is open from noon – 2 p.m. and 4 – 6 p.m. The show is free and open to the public.
