Welsh Printing Merges With Pennsylvania Commercial Printer

Welsh Printing, one of Falls Church’s oldest businesses, has merged with Mifflin Press, a South Central Pennsylvania woman-owned commercial printing company.

The merger will combine Welsh’s strong offset capabilities with Mifflin’s cutting edge digital printing which will add greater capabilities and job growth to both businesses while enabling additional investments in new technologies. Welsh Printing was founded in 1965 by Robert Welsh Sr. Since Mr. Welsh’s death in 1991, the business has been run by his son Robert Welsh Jr. and his daughter Becky Welsh Turner who will both remain involved with the business. Mifflin’s Pamela Kerr will serve as the owner while her husband John Conway serves as the general manager. Welsh Printing is located at 439 S. Washington St.
