Mason Athletes Load 3,400 Bags of Mulch in Fundraiser

Athletes representing 15 George Mason High School spring sports teams participated in the annual Mulch Madness activity Saturday, a fundraiser for Mason athletes that sells bags of mulch to those in the area, both for pickup and delivery.

In just over four hours, 3,400 bags of mulch were loaded into trailers, trucks and vans driven by local volunteers and delivered by student athletes to homes throughout Falls Church.

The event was sponsored by the GMHS Athletic Boosters.
