Sleepy Hollow Fair Lets Young Scientists Find Answers

Many questions were explored by young scientists at the Sleepy Hollow Elementary School Science Fair March 5.

Students in grades two through five submitted 151 science fair projects. Participation is required for fifth graders and voluntary for all others. One fourth grader reported she wanted to gain experience so she would be prepared for next year.

Fairfax School Board member Sandy Evans, along with several working scientists and members of the American Chemical Society were on hand to visit with the students and learn about their projects.
