College of the Armed Forces Students Talk News Media with News-Press

DSC_0295Students at the Industrial College of the Armed Forces of the National Defense University in Washington, D.C., taking part in an Industry Study of the news media field, visited the offices of the News-Press Thursday to learn more about how weekly newspapers work and how community newspapers are involved in providing their readers with public policy information.

Nearly 20 high-ranking members of armed forces from across the globe and government officials were in attendance. After an hour-long presentation by News-Press staff members, Col.
