Free Mulch Available in City of F.C.

The City of Falls Church Recycling Center (217 Gordon Road) is now offering free double-ground leaf mulch and hard-wood mulch to City residents, non-residents, and business owners. Those interested may stop by the center between 7 a.m. and dusk, seven days a week with their own containers, shovels or pitchforks to haul away the mulch. Additionally, Public Works Operations staff will be available to load any open bed vehicle or trailer on Leaf Mulch Loading Day, Saturday, March 10, from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
