City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for February 7 – 13, 2012

Larceny from Vehicle, 1100 block S. Washington St. On Feb. 7, the victim reported an unknown suspect(s) stole an unattended purse in the victim’s vehicle.

Aggravated Assault, 169 Hillwood Ave. (Red, Hot, & Blue) On Feb. 8, a male, 24, of Falls Church, was arrested for Aggravated Assault.

Destruction of Property, 115 E. Fairfax St. (The Falls Church) On Feb. 9, two victims reported unknown suspect(s) smashed the front windows to their vehicles.

Larceny from Vehicle, 115 E. Fairfax St. (The Falls Church) On Feb. 9, the victim reported an unknown suspect(s) smashed a window to the victim’s vehicle and stole a GPS device, cash, credit cards, and other personal items.

Larceny from Vehicle, 100 block N. Washington St. On Feb. 10, the victim reported an unknown suspect(s) smashed a window to the victim’s vehicle and stole cash, credit cards, and other personal items.

Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test, 200 block Hillwood Ave. On Feb. 10, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 36, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test.

Larceny from Building, 300 block Shadow Walk On Feb. 10, the victim reported an unknown suspect(s) stole silverware from the victim’s residence sometime between July 2011 and February 2012.

Shoplifting, 167 Hillwood Ave. (VABC Store) On Feb. 11, two suspects stole several bottles of liquor from the store. One suspect is described as a black male with brown dreadlocks, brown eyes, a goatee and a thin build. He was wearing baggy black pants, brown shoes, and a gray jacket. A second suspect is described as a black male with brown hair, brown eyes and clean shaven. He is medium build and wore black pants, a black jacket, and white shoes.

Larceny from Vehicle, 1400 block S. West St. On Feb. 12, the victim reported an unknown suspect(s) stole the cover to a vehicle while parked on the street.

Public Drunkenness, 900 block N Roosevelt St. On Feb. 12, a male, 21, of Ashburn, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Larceny from Building, 438 S. Washington St. (The Bike Club) On Feb. 13, the business reported an unknown suspect(s) stole various store equipment from the parking lot.

Larceny from Building, 900 S. Washington St. #201 (Alexander Dental Lab) On Feb. 13, the victim reported an unknown suspect(s) stole various personal items on Feb. 12.
